We could say that the Seneka is the big brother of the Princess since it is slightly longer than it, and has the same shape as him. This allows it to glide more easily on the water which may be surprising for a canoe of this size. Like the Princess, its capacity is reduced compared to a large canoe. It maneuvers well and is very easy to portage.
Like most of our models, this canoe is constructed from red cedar. The interior skeleton is white cedar, the gunwales are ash and the parts are made of mahogany. Our seats are woven with rawhide in the traditional way. The hull is covered with a fiberglass fabric and an epoxy coating, all coated with marine varnish with protection against ultraviolet rays.
